[ERIN] Hi everyone, welcome to another blog. Today I’m going to show you three different ways

that I play games. I game at my desk like I am right here, and I game, actually, I do most

of my gaming now in bed just because it’s a lot easier and comfortable ’cause

you know, it’s a BED. Soon I’ll show you that. I also game on my TV, on the Xbox.

Well, it’s not my… it is… it’s the house TV. Um I don’t really play in there as

much just because it’s not my bed. So um yeah, and as always, add any questions

that you have after watching this down in the comments below. And now here we go.

Here I am at my desk, and this is where I game during the day

and the early evening. I use an Apple keyboard because it has a low profile and

the buttons are easy to press, and I just kind of got used to it even though I’m

using a PC, obviously. And I also use a gaming mouse that’s tiny and fits my

hand really well. It has two buttons on the left side that I use primarily like

jump or melee attack, especially in my favorite game Overwatch and yeah I

didn’t really realize how little I move my hand when I’m playing. But yeah, it’s easy the

keys are kind of close to each other so I don’t

have to really move my hand that much to reach everything. And here I am playing

D.va, my favorite. And I’ll include in the description the mouse that I’m using.

I really recommend it if you have trouble lifting mouse, mices? meeces?

mices? Mice.

And here is how I game in bed. I have my Apple Magic Mouse

that I use it my finger to move the mouse around, you know, to open the games, to do

anything on the PC really and I also have a

standard Xbox controller that is propped up on a pillow and the left side is on

my left hand and I use my right hand to do the right joystick and the ABXY

buttons and my left hand does left trigger and left bumper and left joystick.

I’m playing Layers of Fear 2 which is a heckin’ scary game but it’s also really

accessible because all the buttons are remappable and the controls are not

complicated where I have to press a bunch of buttons ’cause even though I have the

adaptive controller if the game has tons of buttons then it’s still difficult

even with that. And to show you how scared I am

watch this clip. [Erin off camera] OH MY GOD! Yeah, oh my god, for sure. Here is it close up of the way I play I do have

a Star Trek sticker skin because I am a dork and I love Spock so much.

and this is how I game on the Xbox in the TV room. I have the standard

controller hooked up to copilot with the adaptive controller and I have the

adaptive controller on top of a box that my dad put together is his shop and

it raises it up so I can reach it. I had it on top of a folding tray and

then I had the standard controller leaned up against that box and the

button I have here is hooked up to the right trigger ’cause I can’t reach the

right trigger on the standard controller and if you want to know more

about how the adaptive controller works I’ll put a link in the description and I

also probably do a video about it in the future

that’s more in-depth. Before my dad made the stand for my controller

I used to use pillows, which as you can imagine, was not ideal. It kept..my

control kept slipping and it was really frustrating

so that block that he made is a great improvement. Here I have set up a yellow

switch that’s a very easy press in lieu of the right trigger. It’s pretty awesome.

So yeah that’s how I game. Thank you so much for watching and supporting

my vlog. So far. I’m trying to get at least two videos out a week. This

video took a while just because um I have…I can’t film

the action shots myself so I rely on my partner or my parents to do the videos.

So you know videos…like this that had a lot of b-roll might just take a bit

longer but I hope you enjoyed, I hope you found it informative and make sure to

hit like and subscribe for future videos from me. See you soon! Bye!

  1. I have a patient named Alex who has MD and only use of his fingers. He plays Luigi Manson 3 and can not finish the game because he can not press the very back button on Nintendo switch controller. He tried to go into the settings and change the control settings but he was not successful. It does not appear to be a choice for this game. Any suggestions?
